Eagles Opener at Augusta State Postponed until Saturday

AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Carson-Newman Eagles' season opener at Augusta State University scheduled for Friday afternoon has been postponed dur to inclement weather.

The two teams will play back-to-back doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's twinbill begins at noon at Lake Olmstead Stadium in Augusta, Ga. Sunday's doubleheader begins at 11 a.m.

The Eagles were 24-21 a season ago.
