Fall portion of Women's Golf schedule released

JEFFERSON CITY - Carson-Newman College announced part of the 2008-09 schedule for the first women's golf team in school history Wednesday.

The Lady Eagles inaugural tournament will be the sixth-annual Pfieffer Lady Falcon Invitational, September 14-16, at the Old North State Golf Club in New London, North Carolina. They will follow that up September 20-22 with the Queens University of Charlotte Invitational at the famed TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

On October 5-7, the Carson-Newman women will compete in the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Intercollegiate, held at River Hills Golf and Country Club in Little River, South Carolina.

Carson-Newman will conclude the fall portion of its schedule with the Aramark Collegiate Invitation at the Etowah Valley Country Club in North Carolina, October 19-21.
