Lisa Rogers enters her second season as assistant coach for the
Lady Eagles.
Prior to joining the C-N staff, Rogers was head softball coach at
Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Ga., where she helped start
the program in 2006. Rogers coached the Lady Scots in their
inaugural season in 2007 and in 2008.
Rogers, who graduated from C-N in 2006 with a degree in Physical
Education, is no stranger to Lady Eagle softball. The Rossville,
Ga. native was a standout first baseman for the Lady Eagles from
2003-06. She led C-N to two South Atlantic Conference regular
season titles (2003, 2005) and a SAC tournament championship
(2005). Rogers was a three-time All-SAC first team honoree
(2004-06) and made the All-SAC tournament team three consecutive
seasons (2003-05). She was also named the SAC Player of the Year in
2005 and 2006.
In high school, Rogers was a standout at Ridgeland High School in
Rossville, Ga.
Rogers is currently enrolled at C-N and is working towards a
Master's degree in Education.
